I had a good experience. First time a visit Sano To Go and staff was very helpful in explain the menu and any questions I had.Food was tasty and with good flavours, my only point less positive, and I raise with the team, is that price range should be reviewed and lowered. Like myself there is people that want to eat healthy but cannot afford spending over £10 per meal.
In terms of veggie options its really yummy especially the chickpea burger and the sides! Although the food is lovely, one thing I will note is that yes the food is great and ethically sourced but I find it very expensive for a lunch grab and go. It can be a bit competitive especially with leather lane market being a fraction of the price. My colleague had the salmon and said it lacked a sauce however she did not see the sauces on the side and she still enjoyed her lunch. This would not be a regular lunch for me and somewhere I would probably take a client for a quick lunch. Regardless I enjoyed my new local!
After my review below the prices went up! I am sure the food is still good but not quite such a deal anymore...Great food at great value. Keep it this way and I will keep coming and spreading the word.
Delicious and reasonably priced fresh food - lovely staff - eco friendly cutlery and they get my coffee order right every time. And the coffee tastes good! Much better option than Pret or others near by. I would say definitely one of the best work lunch places in London. My only criticism is they don’t have the calorie content available on their website or in store for their food which is a little inconvenient but the food is healthy and filling.
Excellent grilled Salmon pot! - Just had a grilled salmon pot and No Orange Orange drink. The food was ready within minutes so not much waiting around and for the offer price it was excellent value for money. The grilled salmon cooked perfectly and the combination of baby potatoes, beetroot, peas and salad was great. I found it a tad too salty hence the 4 stars instead of 5 but other than that I can't fault it. Service was great.Edit - I went back a week later and just had a breakfast egg roll and coffee - it was mind blowing! (you may think its excessive use of words but compared to the overpriced garbage that is sold elsewhere this was deffo two thumbs up). The relish that's inside the roll is extremely tasty. Can't wait to go back.
Today I has my second meal from this place. The place it looks really nice, forniture and mood are very cosy. Sano (healthy in Italian) offers super tasty healthy food that isn't boring! You can see that there's a proper chef behind each dish. I love to eat healthy food but I hate to eat boring salads... Food should be healthy for your body and your soul and this place is doing it right! Enjoy 😉
Loved the food! I got the lamb meatballs and the avocado kick smoothie, both for a banging price since they had an offer going. The person in-store was kind, helped me choose my meal, advised on protein/fat quantities (ahhh thanks again for the patience!) to keep my belly happy and recommended the best smoothie. The food was ready quickly and d*mn tasty. Overall brill experience, will return very soon! Thanks!
Delicious, fresh and nutritious food with an amazing menu, I love Sano and would thoroughly recommend it for either eating in or to go. Service is always with a smile and I think their unique philosophy on healthy eating is fantastic, well done the Sano team.
I went here with a few colleagues and the food was very tasty and healthy. We all noted that the portion sizes were quite small and that we would be feeling hungry again relatively soon. I would really recommend introducing portion size options like many of your competitors in the area (a large for £7.50 for example!)
Lovely food and environment to go and sit for lunch. Tea cup sizes are very small. They do refill with hot water but sometimes you just want a big mug of tea. Delicious ginger and lemongrass curry that reminded me of Vietnam. Will definitely go back and grab one of the comfy sofas and take my kindle along.
